So what's this blog all about, anyway?

"Beyond 40,000" alludes to my interest in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 miniature game and setting, as well as my lately increasing desire to go beyond the limitations of the official game and expand and revise it myself. Articles in this blog, therefore, will be focused on both 40k as it exists and 40k as I wish it to be. There may be the occasional article on topics only peripherally related to 40k as well.

I've written a ton on the topic at various discussion boards on the Internet (RelicNews.com, Warseer.com, BoLS, BolterandChainsword.com), and hope to begin migrating many of those topics over here in due time.
